Chicken Divan

4 cups cooked and cubed chicken
1 cube butter
1/2 cup flour
1 can chicken broth
2 cups milk
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 cups frozen broccoli (I use fresh... covering the bottom, just eyeball it)
cooked rice

In a large saucepan, melt butter on medium high heat and then stir in 1/2 cup flour. Add chicken broth slowly. Let cook for 1-2 minutes until it thickens and then add milk... 1/2 cup at a time until 2 cups is added. Add Lipton mix and then sprinkle parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-5 minutes until thickened and cheese melts.

Put frozen broccoli on the bottom of pan(s) and then pour a little sauce over. (Or fresh broccoli *I put in the broccoli down on the 9x13 and add some water... then put in the microwave to steam it a bit*). Add chicken on top of broccoli and then pour the rest of the sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with more parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Serve over rice

*Could also freeze and make later*
