Pizza Crust
4 cups flour
2 T sugar
1 T yeast
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 T olive oil
Measure flour, yeast, sugar and salt into a bowl. Add water and olive oil. Knead with a hook on your mixer or by hand until dough forms together in a solid ball. If it is too dry, add water 1T at a time. Let rise for 30-45 minutes. Roll out to fit your pizza stone. This makes a large enough crust for good sized edges. And if you have extra make some bread sticks or another mini pizza.
Toppings
mozzarella cheese
tomatoes
pepperoni
chicken/cilantro/bbq sauce
freshly minced garlic
peppers
onions
spinach
Italian seasoning
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
red pepper flakes
ANYTHING... See how easy?
Heat oven to 450*. Place pizza stone in the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes take it out, sprinkle the stone with cornmeal. Add your rolled out crust. Your crust will already start to rise as it hit the stone. Brush dough with 1 T olive oil. Working quickly add your toppings.
Bake pizza for 15-20 minutes.
